He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Hayes and Josephine Hayes; and his cousin Matt "Rooster" Matthews. He is survived by: his daughters, Katrina Hayes and Jessica Gaultney (Samuel); his grandchildren, Ellanora, Lillian and William Gaultney; his siblings, Mary Bryant (Albert), Michael Hayes (Mary Lou) and Bobby Hayes; and his cousins, Carol Matthews and Amy Greene. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
