She was predeceased by: her husband Stanley Maples; her parents, Bill McDaniel and Beulah McDaniel; her siblings, Estelle Hixon, Evelyn Kee, Roy, Paul, Dave and Eugene McDaniel; and her son-in-law Michael Lewis.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sharon Lewis and Judy Turner (Randy); her grandchildren, Ashley Dean (Chris), Samantha Liner (Chris), Rusty Turner (Alexis), Randall Turner (Heather) and Zack Lewis; and her sisters, Faye Hixson and Ann Kitts. She is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren.
