He is survived by: his son Thomas Caldwell, III; his grandchildren, Thomas Caldwell, IV, Alexandria Grace Caldwell and Hailey Jordan Humphres; and his nieces and nephews, Karen Foster, Michelle Kersch, Shawn Mooneyhan, Richard Mooneyhan, William Mooneyhan and Ronnie Calhoun.
