She was predeceased by: her parents, Leslie Carney and Izona Carney; and her siblings, Agnes Cotter, L. W. Carney, Douglas Carney and Badger Carney.

She is survived by: her son Kevin Texeira; her granddaughter Charlotte; and her niece Dianne Bentley. She is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
