He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Sartain and Estamae Sartain; and his sister Vivian Owens. He is survived by: his wife Frances Sartain; his children, David L. Sartain, Kathy Larsen and Robin Rector (David); his grandchildren, Cecil Sartain, Haley Sartain, Zane Messamore (Cale), Callie Relford (Michael Davis), Amanda Rector, Dylan Rector (Whitney), Hanna Larsen and Geordie Larsen (Leslie); and his great grandchildren, Casey Relford, Camden Brock, Cayden Relford, Charlie, Cooper, Evie, Jeb Messamore, Timber, Dakota Seals, Ethan, Abygail Huertas and Nora Rector. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and other family members.
