She was predeceased by: her parents, Allen French and Mae French; and her son Joe Keith Padgett. She is survived by: her husband Charles "Bus" Smith; her sons, Christopher D. Padgett (Lorie), Michael T. Padgett (Lisa) and Mike Smith (Shonia); and her brother Winford French.
