He was predeceased by: his wife Angela K. Wilson Carpenter; his parents, Reford Carpenter and Evelyn Carpenter; and his brothers, Sonny Carpenter, Ray Carpenter and Ernie Carpenter.
He is survived by: his daughters, Jessica Carpenter Johnson and Cherity Hunt (Chris); his grandchildren, Kelsey Carpenter, Korey Johnson, Ella Hunt, Elijah Hunt and Kaitlyn Reagan; his brothers, Darrell Carpenter, Steve Carpenter, Mike Carpenter, Danny Carpenter and Dean Carpenter; and his pet Squeaky. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews.
