He was predeceased by: his wife Christine Holt Rines; his parents, Mack Rines Sr. and Elizabeth Ward Rines; his siblings, Lula Belle Rines Lewis, Mack Rines Jr. and Hubert Rines; his great grandchild Madyson Valentine; and his siblings-in-law, J. C. Holt, Johnny Arwood, Floyd Shaffer, James Haynes, Clark Lewis, Lorene Arwood, Cora Rines and Joyce Holt.
He is survived by: his children, Kathy Rines, Christy Rines Godoy (Alex) and Scott Rines (Karen); his grandchildren, Brandon Valentine (Victoria), Erin Valentine, Ally Rines, Braden Rines, Randy Lane (Dawn), Taylor Lane (Maria) and Glen; his sisters, Edna Shaffer, Shelby Thomas (Harold), Patsy Haynes and Patricia "Trit" Rines; and his brother-in-law Robert Earl Holt (Janet). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
