He was predeceased by: his parents, William A. Byrd and Millie Byrd; and his siblings, Sandra Byrd, Ernest Byrd, Doyle Byrd and Bonnie Kirkendall.
He is survived by: his wife Ina Rose Byrd; his children, Steven C. Byrd and Pat Dixon; his grandchild Carlin Byrd; his great grandchildren, Haley Byrd and William Byrd; his sisters, Margaret Byrd Watson (Delmar) and Lorene Byrd; and his close friend Larry Brooks. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
