She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Strange and Myrtle Strange; her husband Pete Ray; her grandson Freddie Ray; and her siblings, Jesse, Jack, Joe, Mildred and Doris.
She is survived by: her children, Carroll Ray (Judy) of Whitesburg, Peggy Trent, Rogersville and Susie Morris of Morristown; her grandchildren, Angie, Laurie, Kristie, Sammy and Dusty; and her sisters, Bobbie Strange and Gladys Edison. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren.
