He is survived by: his children, Dawn Barker (Dennis), Donna Ward Lamb, Ronda Ward Price and Robin Parker (Michael); his grandchildren, Eric Rector, Brittany Rector Fox, Dennis Barker, Jr. (Deanna), Latoshia Price, Megan Jordan, Matthew Parker (Courtney) and Jacob Parker (Samantha); and his sister Shirley Bailey (Paul). He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and other family members.
