He was predeceased by: his son Donnie; his parents, Robert Lee and Avie Lee Owens Parton; his brothers, Larry, Floyd and Randy Parton; his niece Tever Parton; and his siblings-in-law, Mary Velez, Carolyn Parton, Mickey Crocker, Jim Lane, Jerry Lane and John Lane (Linda).
He is survived by: his wife Kay Parton; his daughters, Donna Parton and Dena Lane (Tommy); his grandsons, Jordan Bell, Jared Bell, Brody Lane, Randy Lane and Taylor Lane; his great grandchildren, Shadow, Shayde Bell and Ellie Lane; his siblings, Denver Parton, Bobby Parton, Willadene Parton, Dolly Dean (Carl), Stella Parton, Cassie Griffin (Greg), Freida Parton and Rachel George (Eric); and his siblings-in-law, Tommy Lane (Martha), Lorene Lane, Sue Tipton (Everette), Rita Helton (Jim), Linda Lane and Becky Harvel.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Leadvale Baptist Church (874 Leadvale Church Rd, White Pine, TN 37890). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Dandridge Memorial Gardens (845 US-25W, Dandridge, TN 37725).
