He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Charles Hardy Herndon; his parents, John L. Herndon and Lorene Fox Herndon; and his brother Johnny Herndon. He is survived by: his children, Charles Herndon (Anne), Frank Herndon (Diana) and Lori Bolden (Kevin); his grandchildren, Tori Brewer (Tom), Andrew, Emily Vick, Jasmine, Tanner and Wayne Herndon; his great grandchild Rowan Brewer; his pet Carter Bolden; his sister Sandy Mottern (Bobby); and his siblings-in-law, Patty Herndon, Nancy Ann France (G. W.) and Frank Alan Hardy (Teressia). He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, please make an investment in an outing with your family or take your family to Yoder's and have a sandwich in memory of Danny.
