He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Parker Sliger; and his mother Frances Smith Trent. He is survived by: his stepfather C. H. Trent; his siblings, Dwayne Sliger (Carol), Scott Sliger (Brenda) and Kathy Sliger; his stepchildren, Michael Barnett (Karen) and Kim Harrison (Kenneth); his grandson Steven Barnett; and his great grandchild Parker Barnett. He is also survived by other family members and friends.
