He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert "Mickey" Grant and Elizabeth McNatt Goodcourage. He is survived by: his wife Beth Goodcourage; his son Seth Goodcourage (Rebekah Gourley) of White House, TN; his sister Judy Bushey (Mike) of Huntsville, AL; and his grandson Parker Bolt.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to either The Ronald McDonald House or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital..
