He was predeceased by: his grandson Austin Hollis; his uncle Wiley "Tuddy" Tuberville; and his father Lawrence Beier Sr.. He is survived by: his daughters, Cari Hollis and Tara Mourning; his mother Faye Rocchietti; and his siblings, Lisa Schmittle, Todd Beier and Matthew Rocchietti. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Through organ donation Larry received a heart and he saw his grandson, Austin, as a hero for giving one.
