He was predeceased by: his parents, Iva Gourley and James Alvin Horner; his son Hugh Rex Horner; his granddaughter Tammy LeAnna Allen; his son-in-law Charles Robert Allen; and his siblings, York, Paul, Fred Horner, Margaret Horner Hull and Evelyn Horner Smith.
He is survived by: his daughters, Mary Horner Adkins (Doug) and Sally Kay Horner Allen; his grandchildren, Katrina Herring (Eric), Martin Allen (KT), Kelly Debaillon (Darren), Mackenzie Adkins and Kevin Adkins; and his great grandchildren, Eric Herring, Jr. and Jaya Herring. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
