He was predeceased by: his parents, Susan Fox and Joseph Fox; his wife Patricia Ann Fox; his siblings, Edward Fox, James Fox and Mary Fox; his daughters, Susan Lynn Fox and Mary Louise Fox; and his stepson James Franklin Thomas.
He is survived by: his children, Robert Fox IV and Virginia Fox; his stepchildren, Anthony Thomas and Pamela Long; and his grandchildren, Daniel Fox, Madison Fox, Alex Ellis and Bobby Fox. He is also survived by 6 step grandchildren.
