She was predeceased by: her father Clyde Douglas; her husband Frank West; and her brothers, Clyde Lee, Ricky Lee, Jerry Lee and Ray Lee.

She is survived by: her daughters, Brenda Lewis (Jerry) and Norma Cathey (Carmen); her grandchildren, Michelle Hughes (Bryan) and Jared Cathey (Jennifer); her great grandchildren, Bailey Hughes and Jameson Cathey; and her sisters, Jenny Hall and Sue Tidwell (Wayne). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and in-laws.
