He was predeceased by: his parents, Carlton Leon and Shirley Arlene Williams Woodard; and his brother Ricky Woodard. He is survived by: his wife Melanie Gilliam Woodard; his children, Cheryl Suggs (Jeffrey), Bryan Woodard (Kellie) and Barrett Ray; his grandchildren, Levi Suggs and Jenna Suggs; and his sisters, Diane Whitfield (Dale) of White Bluff, Carol Sue Moore (Steve) of White Bluff and Tracy Woodard of White Bluff. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
