He was predeceased by: his father George Lyle; his nephew John Goldtrap; and his brother Charles Lyle Simpson, Sr.. He is survived by: his brother Monroe Hargrove (Christie) of White Bluff, TN; his daughter Carrie Michelle Wagner; his granddaughters, Brittney Marcinko and Abigail Lalap; his nephews, Brenton Haggard, Sean Conner, Domnick Dile and Monroe Hargrove, Jr.; and his siblings, Robert William Simpson and Gloria Simpson Keeten (James).
