He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Clyde and Izella Tidwell (Owens); and his siblings, Morris Wayne Tidwell, Benjamin Tidwell, Geneva Pack and Annie Ruth Tidwell.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Tidwell of White Bluff, TN; his son Carlton Douglas Tidwell of Nashville, TN; his stepsons, Bruce Vaughn, Jason Vaughn and James Vaughn; his daughters, Cathy Arleen Lee of Fairview, TN, Rosetta Mae Richards (Don) of Dickson, TN and Sharon Maghami of Nashville, TN; and his siblings, Roy Lee Tidwell of Nashville, TN, Gerald Tidwell of Fairview, TN, Thomas Tidwell of Franklin, TN and Odessa Norvell of Lyles, TN. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
