He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Greer Hooper and Effie Mae Sullivan Hooper; his wife Kathy Welker Hooper; his siblings, Curtis D. Hooper, Sr., Mary Adcock and Cecil Hooper; and his nephews, Nelson McRee Jr. and Casey McRee.
He is survived by: his children, Matthew Dallas Hooper (Jennifer), Lucas Hooper (Brandi) and Cynthia Swiegoda (Chris); the mother of his child Carolyn Clark Hooper; his sisters, Altha McRee and Libby Hooper; and his grandchildren, Hayden, Tatum, Evan, Jake, Emma, Brantly, John, Wyatt and Dalton.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 2:00 PM.
