It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Johnny Earl Hammett of Westport, Tennessee, who passed away on September 11, 2023, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Judge William Edward Hammett and Juanita Frances Webb. He is survived by: his son Tyler Hammett (Denise) of Dyersburg, Tennessee; his sister Jennifer Gurley (Danny) of Westport, Tennessee; his grandchildren, Lindey Scott (Cody) and John Tyler Hammett (Jennifer); and his great grandchildren, Lydia Scott, Natalie Scott, Knoxley Scott, William Hammett and Justin Hammett.
