He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Walker and Brooksie Walker (Hilliard); his children, David Keith Walker and Jo Ann Melton; and his brothers, Thomas Walker and Danny Walker.
He is survived by: his children, Cindy Newbern (Alphonso) of Medon, Amanda Edmonson (Steven) of Camden and Mike Walker (Jennifer) of Wildersville; his sister Hilda Pritchard of Westport; and his close friend Barbara Walker. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
