He was predeceased by: his parents, George Byrd and Tinnie Byrd; his son Timothy Byrd Brothers-Carl; and his sisters, Thelma Alsup, Ardie Byrd, Gene Franklin, Nell Fowler and Clara Kilburn.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Sue; and his children, Chris Byrd (Amanda), Brian Byrd St (Kaye Lynn) and Amanda Elkins Loretto (James). He is also survived by 5 Grandchildren 6 Great Grandchildren.
