He is survived by: his wife Jo Ann Caperton Thompson of Westpoint, TN; his children, Jimmy Linville (Katy) of Killen, AL, Colleen Smoke (Greg) of Westpoint, TN and Darlene Yentzen (Mark) of Lumberton, TX; his grandchildren, Brandon Butler (Deanna), Jamel Horton, Paul Smoke (Madison), Calli Roberts, Zach Hardy, Jackson, Zoe and Tori Linville; his great grandchildren, Will, Alex, Sophie, Bryson, Dominic, Holland and Abrie; and his siblings, Jasper Thompson (Brenda) of Lawrenceburg, IN, Paulette Thompson of Marathon, FL, Joyce Seale (Dan) of Springfield, MO, Glenda Sugg (John) of Cuyahoga, OH and Susan Shimp (Todd) of Akron, OH. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
