She was predeceased by: her parents, June Catherine Roberts and Harold A. Hill, Sr.; her husband Ernest Wayne Nelson; her grandson Shawn Cook; and her sister June Katherine Schumaker.
She is survived by: her children, Roger Smith (Heather) of White House, Shawna Hurst (David) of Castalian Springs, Honey Huff (Chris) of Westmoreland and Carl Smith of Scottsville, Kentucky; her siblings, Shirley Sager (Dan), Rick Hill (Linda), Harold Hill (Pat), Linda Gallo, Joann Harris, Leona Schmidt and Dan Hill; and her pet Cinnamon. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren.
