It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Freeman Johnson of Westmoreland, Tennessee, who passed away on March 6, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid adieu to Dorothy Freeman's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Dorothy Freeman has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Will Eaton and Anner Carter Eaton; and her husband Jack Glendal Johnson. She is survived by: her children, Wayne Freeman (Kathy), Mike Freeman and Lisa Elmitt; and her grandchildren, Sam Freeman (Carretta), Shannon Freeman (Tonya), Mack Freeman (Lisa Marie), Shaina Blevins (Todd) and Kelly Brown. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Sunday, March 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Woodard Funeral Home (5591 US-31E, Westmoreland, TN 37186). A funeral service was held on Sunday, March 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
