He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Meeks Barber and Mary Kathryn Johnston Barber; and his sister Jane McCoy (Bobby). He is survived by: his wife Donna Pinkerton Barber; his children, John Barber, Miranda Yates (Dusty) and Steven Skelton; his grandchildren, Emily, Austin, Hayden Yates, Cory and Katelyn Skelton; his great grandchild Carter Chandler; and his sister Helen Hicks (William).
