She was predeceased by: her parents, Atlas Eugene Bray of Carroll County and Lydia Ann Bray (Choate) of Perry County; her former husband Roy Wayne Carlton of Greenfield; her husband Joseph "Field" Watkins of McKenzie; and her siblings, William "Eugene" Bray, Doris Earlene White (Bray), Thelma Louise Rodriguez (Bray), Shirley May Tinoco (Bray) and Lydia Irene Azbill (Bray).

She is survived by: her sons, Adam Wayne Carlton (Ashley) of Waynesboro and Zachary Lucas Carlton of Jackson, Tennessee; her grandchildren, Brian-Austin Wayne Carlton (Kyla), Ty Alexander Carlton, Gracey Sierra Carlton and Avery Claire Carlton; and her great grandchild Novaleigh "Nova" Emersyn Rose Carlton.
