It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Nell May Martin Bevis (Waynesboro, Tennessee), born in Iron City, Tennessee, who passed away on September 20, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Coleman Frank and Eula E Martin; her spouse Willie Dalton Bevis; her son Earnest Bevis; and her sisters, Lois Watkins, Lucille Keeton and Lila Whitehead.
She is survived by: her sons, Bobby Bevis (Regina) of Waynesboro, TN, Rex Bevis (Ann) of Waynesboro, TN, Robert Bevis (Mavis) of Collinwood, TN and Willie Bevis (Nonie) of Worden, IL; her grandchildren, Chris Bevis, Derrick Bevis (Julia), Amanda Bevis Jacobs (Jake), Wendy Bevis Daniel (Ben), Anna Brooke Lee (Ryan) and Suzanne Bevis; and her sisters, Iva McNutt of Chattanooga, TN, Frankie Morgan of Waynesboro, TN and Jean Littrell (Elmo) of Collinwood, TN. She is also survived by several other grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be given to the Butterfly Foundation.
