It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Joan Thompson (Waynesboro, Tennessee), who passed away on November 30, 2022, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John William Pigg and Willie Isabell Scott; her daughter Jessica Ray Guarjardo; her stepfather Willie B. Wilbanks; her grandparents, William, Beck Scott, Bessie and Ed Pigg; and her siblings, Janet Coosenberry, Michael Pigg and Johnny K. Pigg.
She is survived by: her son Jason Dewayne Pigg of Collinwood, TN; her siblings, Joy Wright of Waynesboro, TN and Randy Pigg; her grandson Jacob Dewayne Pigg of Waynesboro, TN; and her close friends, Mary "Mert" Kephart and Ashlynd "Al" Skaggs. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
