We are sad to announce that on September 26, 2022, at the age of 79, James Richard Rains of Waynesboro, Tennessee, born in Memphis, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, J. D. Rains and Mary Grace Busby Rains; and his siblings, Randy Rains, Gerry Rains and Sandra Rains Meredith.
He is survived by: his wife Frances Brewer Rains of Waynesboro, TN; his daughters, Jennifer Rains Weber (Steve Jr.) of Columbia, TN and Kimberly Rains Nichols (Hugh) of Lawrenceburg, TN; his siblings, Rocky Ray Rains of Savannah, TN and Summer Rains Poole (Cliff) of South Haven, MS; his siblings-in-law, Jim Meredith of Adamsville, TN, Millie Rains of Duncanville, TX and Cherry Rains of Bells, TN; and his grandchildren, Mark Weber, Claire Weber, Matthew Weber, Garrett Nichols, Luke Nichols and Sam Nichols. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
