With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Frank Allen Barnett of Waynesboro, Tennessee, born in New Madrid, Missouri, who passed away on December 28, 2022 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Frank and Hazel Louise Shy Barnett; his former wife Patsy Nell Brewer; and his wife Celia Dixon Bass. He is survived by: his children, Victor Barnett (Kathy) of Waynesboro, TN, Andee Brewer Barnett (Stephanie) of Waynesboro, TN, Jyl Barnett Davis (Tim) of Ringgold, GA, Joby Hughes (Mark) of Waynesboro, TN and Bridget Crews (Jason) of Waynesboro, TN; and his siblings, Rick Barnett (Marsha) of Hendersonville, TN, June Steele (Jeter) of Waynesboro, TN and Betty Hurst of Birmingham, AL. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations should be given to the Butterfly Foundation or the Janet Johnston Smith Foundation.
