He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd, Sr. Staggs and Inavey Brewer Staggs; and his brother Thomas Scott. He is survived by: his wife Melba Jean Irwin Staggs of Waynesboro, TN; his sons, Burton Scott Staggs of Waynesboro, TN, Brad Allison Staggs of Waynesboro, TN, Barton Smith Staggs (Amy) of Savannah, TN and Blake Townson Staggs (Katelyn) of Lawrenceburg, TN; his sisters, Wanda Thompson (Joe) of Collinwood, TN and Anita Ann Staggs of Tullahoma, TN; his grandchildren, Chace, Kennedy, Allison, McKenzie, Taylor, Breanna, Aaron, Riley and Nile; his stepgrandchildren, Eli, Emma and Zoe; his great grandchildren, Soulyn, Wilder, Remedy, Andrew and Hudson; his nieces and nephews, George Blasingame, Keith, Kevin Scott, Amy and Desiree Blasingame; and also, Gerald, Myra and Gayle Staggs.
