He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Lando and Rachel Odessa Bradley Byrd; his son Alexander Grant Byrd; and his sister Brenda Leighton. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Crews Byrd of Lawrenceburg, TN; his daughters, Dawn Sinclair (Bill) of Waynesboro, TN and Daphne Woodside (Eddie) of Lawrenceburg, TN; his siblings, Saundra Grinder of Collinwood, TN, Bruce Byrd of St. Louis, MO and Ricky Byrd (Loretta) of Mt. Pleasant, TN; his grandchildren, Ian Powell, Reagan Powell, Tyler Woodside (Martha Kristin), Alexandra Woodside, Charli Woodside, Jake Sinclair and Will Sinclair; his niece Noelle Goldsby (Troy); his great-niece Josie; his great-nephew Ronnie; his nephew Alan Gobbell; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Lane and Riley; and his niece Angie Gobbell.
The family has requested in lieu of flower donations be made to St. Jude.
