In loving memory of William Holmes Whittaker of Waverly, Tennessee, born in Richmond, Kentucky, who departed this world on October 30, 2024 at the age of 70. Though William Holmes may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those William Holmes touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Henry Whittaker and Garnetta May Morton Rodgers; and his siblings, Teresa French and Benny Whittaker. He is survived by: his daughters, Lauren and Heather Whittaker; his close friend Cynthia Dugger; and his stepchildren, Cory Dugger (Elizabeth), Emily Houston (Erik) and Alyssa Phillips (Hank). He is also survived by 10 step grandchildren and 1 step great granddaughter.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Samuel's.
