It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Lester Thomas of Waverly, Tennessee, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on January 8, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles William Thomas and Helen Elizabeth Newell Thomas; his stepdaughter Glenda Gholson; and his siblings, Jim Thomas of Texas, Bill Thomas, Charlene McCullum, Helen Carter and Marquette Elliott.
He is survived by: his wife Louise Damesworth Thomas of Waverly, TN; his children, Ron Thomas (Sally) of St. Louis, MO, Barbara Anderson (Kevin) of St and Susan Garza of St. Louis, MO; his stepchildren, Jerry Ragsdale of Waverly, TN and Joni Jensen (David) of Waverly, TN; and his sister Karen Franklin. He is also survived by Several Grandchildren & Great Grandchildren Several Nieces & Nephews.
