He is survived by: his wife Judy Kretzer; his daughter-in-law Cathy Lance; his granddaughters, Marissa Kay Lance and Ashley Jo Lance; and his siblings, Dale Mercer, Pat Bass and Joyce Shaffer (Gerald). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Humphreys County Funeral Home (217 E Main St, Waverly, TN 37185). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Oak Grove Cemetery.
