She was predeceased by: her father J. C. Damesworth. She is survived by: her husband Michael "Mickey" Daniel; her children, Kristin Story, William Story and Shari Carr; her grandchildren, Trinity, Dominic, Donavyn, Amira, Drake and Alexandra; her brother Jay "Bird" Damesworth (Cindy); her nephews, Steven and Lyle Palk; and her pets, Festus and Shuggs.
