He is survived by: his wife Peggy of Waverly; his children, Gretchen Little (Kerry) of Waverly, Jack Woerner, Jr. (Tammy) of Murfreesboro, Emil Woerner of Benton, Katherine Greene (Ervin) of Rutherfordton and Heidi Anderson of Martin, Tennessee.; his grandchildren, Clifton Higgins, Meghan Rochelle (Jacob), Mills Higgins, Brigitte Anderson, John Woerner (Gray), Katy Roper (Brian), Louis Anderson (Hannah), Aaron Higgins, Emil Woerner, Jr., Amanda May (Josh), Paul Anderson (Abbi), Addie Woerner and Jack Anderson; and his great grandchildren, Emma, Maggie, Brian, Jr., Bonnie, Henley, Emmitt, Margaret, Bleu, Louellen and Bowman.
