He is survived by: his stepson Hal Jr.; his wife Dean Short; his daughters, Nancy Turner (Jimmy) of New Johnsonville and Deborah Hughey (Greg) of Waverly; his brother Mike Short (Dianne) of Jackson, TN; his brother-in-law Eddie Herndon of McEwen, TN.; his grandchild Frazier Barker Breighanna Turner (Jeffrey Peek); and his great grandchildren, Kaden, Paisley, Oakley, Tripp, Traxx, Claire, Tegann and Landen. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
