He was predeceased by: his parents, Elsie Riles Emery and George W. Emery, Sr. of Washington; and his siblings, William H. Birchfield and Dottie Jo Emery Dixon. He is survived by: his wife Lucille Emery of Gaffney; his children, Randy Emery (Ali) of Fulshear, TX, Eddie Emery (Darlene) of Waverly, TN and Charlotte Rushton (Phil) of Camden; his sisters, Betty Lou Marston of Lawrenceburg, TN and Helen Louise Bartos of Parma, Ohio; his siblings-in-law, Roy Pettit of Greenville and Sarah Williams of Gaffney; his grandchildren, Emery Rushton, Emily Whitsell, Amber Dawn Elliott and Shawn Emery; and his great grandchildren, Madison Rushton, Megan Rushton, Scarlett Whitsell, Harry Whitsell, Dennis Whitsell and Kylie Elliott.
