With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Floyd Edward Wanamaker of Waverly, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 28, 2025 at the age of 87. He was predeceased by: his mother Stella Lucille Wheeler Wanamaker; his sisters, Mabel Smith and Rebecca Smith; his parents-in-law, Azell Curtis and Hubert Curtis; and his brothers-in-law, Billy Hill, Maxie Smith and Ralph Smith.
He is survived by: his father James Edward Wanamaker; his wife Carolyn Ruth Wanamaker; his son Mark Wanamaker (Shelby) of Clarksville; his grandchildren, Marcus Hunter Wanamaker (Kelsey), Ethan Wanamaker, Garrett Wanamaker, Jayden Winfree, Kylie Wanamaker and Jacob Wanamaker; his great grandchildren, Nash Wanamaker and Neyland Wanamaker; and his sister Omega Hill.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, at 4:00 PM and at 8:00 PM at the Luff-Bowen Funeral Home (2400 TN-13, Waverly, TN 37185). A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
