He was predeceased by: his parents, William "Will" Gunn and Hallie Pearl Holland Gunn; and his sisters, Johnnie Ruth Ulrey, Ruby Nell Martin, Tommie Mae Belleau, Mary Jo Forster and Margie Lee Watkins.
He is survived by: his significant other Margie May Gunn; his children, Mike Gunn (Brenda), Lisa Kimmons (Darryl) and Keith Gunn (Robin); and his great grandchildren, Audrey Gunn, Avery Gunn (Taylor), Ashley Lyle (Shane), Amber Crowell (Chad), Alaina Moran (Earl), Riley Dotson (Jannah), David Gunn (Meghan), Will Gunn (Lydia) and Stephanie Gunn Zumo (Kirk).
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Humphreys County Funeral Home (217 E Main St, Waverly, TN 37185). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
