He was predeceased by: his parents, James Medley and Anna-Jewell Medley; and his brother Jack Medley. He is survived by: his wife Peggie Medley; his sister Marianna Perratta; his daughters, Suzanna Philbeck, Jamey Shea and Heather Allen; and his grandchildren, Jacob Philbeck, Megan Philbeck and Taylor Shea.
