He was predeceased by: his parents, Oran Boone and Martha Greer Boone; and his brothers, Eugene Boone and Harold Dean Boone. He is survived by: his wife Mary J. Boone of Watauga, TN; his children, Lawrence Daniel Boone II (Tabitha) of Bluff City, TN, Nathan Glen Boone, Sarah (Justin) of Elizabethton, TN, Taylor Marie Boone of Blacksburg, VA, Danielle Grindstaff (Chad) and Nikki Jones of Elizabethton, TN; and his siblings, Ann Teter of Elizabethton, TN, Grace Canter (Carl) of Elizabethton, TN, Charlotte Julian (Bud) of Elizabethton, TN and James Boone (Johnnie) of Roan Mountain, TN. He is also survived by four grandsons; two granddaughters.
