He was predeceased by: his parents, Otha Murlin and Joyce Russell. He is survived by: his sons, Shannon Russell, Charles Smith and Tony Smith; his granddaughters, Kaitlynn Delany and Abigail Smith; his brothers, Ricky Russell and Scottie Russell; his nieces, Joyclyn Russell, Alexandria Russell, Kristy Russell and Misty Russell; and his nephew David Cotter.
