He was predeceased by: his parents, Luke Nicley and Rosie Nicley; and his siblings, C. H., Herb Nicley, Jenny, Martha Nicley and Annette Williams.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Nicley; his children, Ray Nicley and Lisa Nicely (Doyle); his grandchildren, Tyler Nicley (Brittany), Mackenzie Anderson (Tyler) and Jason Nicley (Lindsay); his great grandchildren, Jackson, Coleben, Jacelyn Nicley and Wrenleigh Seiber; and his siblings, Leroy Nicley (Jill), Rob Nicley (Helen), Elbert Nicley (Glenda), Jerry Nicley (Pat) and Mary Nicley. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
The lying in state will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Dutch Valley Baptist Church (3455 Dutch Valley Rd, Washburn, TN 37888). Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at the Nicley Harrell Cemetery (1230 Elm Springs Ridge, Washburn, TN 37888).
